A CRITICAL EXAMINATION OF HEALTH RECORD COLLECTION, STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL PRACTICES OF HEALTH RECORD STAFF (A CASE STUDY OF FEDERAL MEDIAL CENTRE, ASABA)
This research work is on critical examination of health record collection, storage and retrieval practices of health record staff in F.M.C, Asaba. The statement of problem focused on the problems arising as a result of lack of critical examination of health record collection, storage and retrieval practices on health record staff in F.M.C Asaba which include the use of untrained personnel to perform health records duties, incompetence and inadequate accommodation. In order to achieve this work, three research questions were formulated. The hypothesis for null says that there is no definite relationship between the storage and retrieval of health records as a practice in health institution while the alternate hypothesis gave a clear significance of there is a relationship between storage and retrieval of health records in a health institution.
