Electronic Health Record is a computerized collection, organization and storing of patients details. Electronic Health Record has demonstrated a great advantage in the improvement of the services of health care providers. In line with the above this study was therefore carried out to assess electronic health record in University Teaching Hospitals using Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi as the area of study. The design of the study was descriptive. The population comprised of seventy-one (71) Medical Records workers in Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi. Yamane Taro’s formula was used to determine a sample size of sixty (60) respondents. These respondents comprise of fifteen (15) males and forty-five (45) females which were selected at random from Medical Records Department of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi.
