ATTITUDE OF RURAL DWELLER TOWARDS ORTHODOX MEDICINE

This study assessed attributes of herbal and orthodox medicines such as affordability, packaging, availability, efficacy, reliability, and side effects. Structured questionnaires, observation and oral interview were the instructment used to elicit information from the people leaving in Ozoro, Owhe, Emevor and Iyede community. 110 self administered questionnaires were distributed and 100% were duly completed and returned. Descriptive research survey was employed using simple random sampling technique. Data were analyzed with simple statistical table and percentage.
