EFFECTS OF BALANCE DIET ON DIABETIC PATIENT

Diabetes Mellitus is a cankerworm that is responsible for the leading cause of mortality rate among men and women of our present time. Cases of diabetes Mellitus continues to occur and reoccurring everyday on an increasing rate among patient’s history in Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital Nnewi Anambra State and Nigeria at large. The prevalence of Diabetes especially among Nigerian age people prompted the research interest on “Effect of Balance Diet on Diabetic Patient”, with specific focus on NAUTH Nnewi. Based on this; research questions were raised, a hypotheses was postulated and relevant literatures reviewed. The methodology used was descriptive survey design with a sampling size of 100 persons; a random sampling technique was used to give everybody an equal chance of participating in the interview.
