APPLICATION OF ICT IN STRENGTHINING PATIENT CARE MANAGEMENT

The study is about the application of ICT in strengthening patient care management. (A case study of Nnamdi Aikiwe Teaching Hopital Nnewi,)Research questions were asked to guide the study. A descriptive design was used and related literature reviewed. The study aimed at finding out the application of ICT in Health Record department, NAUTH, Nnewi. The knowledge and utilization, factors affecting  ICT and impact of ICT in strengthening patient care management were to be investigated out . A target population of 108 staff was to be studied. A Sample size of 40 staff was used. Instrument of data collection was questionnaire. It has two sections (section A and B) section A is the personal data of staff as target to age, sex, marital status, occupation, educational qualification.
