CAUSES OF QUACKERY IN HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

Quackery can be found in many cultures or a given profession, presently the practice of quackery is so fattened in Health Records practice because control efforts targeted at this time is inadvertently but actively deficient. Despite the fact that a reasonable number of professionals have been trained in Health Information Management in Nigeria, the number of non-professionals in the field working in the Health Information Management department is still more compared to the number of professionals in the systems. This present work was on the assessment of the causes of quackery in health information management, its effects in the treatment of patients and a way out using Health Information Management department, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi Anambra state as a study area.
