CONFLICT MANAGEMENT AMONG HEALTH WORKERS A PANACEA TO HEALTH CARE DELIVERY

This research work on conflict management among health workers, A panacea to health care delivery is an incidence that cannot be over looked because Healthcare is a complex system that requires effective team work and co-operation to function well.  Managing conflict in the workplace is a time consuming but necessary task for the management or individual workers.  Conflict may exist between physicians, between physicians and staff and between the staf or the health care team and the patient.  The main objective of the study is to find out the causes of conflict, the effect of conflict, the level of conflict and possibly find solution that will well in resolving the conflict among health workers.  Descriptive survey design was adopted and simple random sampling was used to select 300 respondents from the population of 1,200 health workers.
